These are great. Though we mostly use them as mattress and carpet protectors. We have 4 and I just ordered a 5th! One for the 5 year old's bed, 1 for our bed since he migrates to it nightly. And one extra for which ever bed ends up wet. I keep the pad under the sheet (because I dont like to sleep on polyester). 4th one is for our old dog who leaks, and the 5th one will be for the dog too, to switch out. The pads wash and dry (on low heat setting) nicely! Have washed and dried them a lot (!) since we got them almost a year ago. They have never soaked through. I had to do a lot more laundry (washing the mattress pads every time) before I discovered these! The only reason I am giving these 4 stars is because they are mostly polyester, which I do not tolerate well next to my skin, so I have to put the pads under the sheet, and that creates an extra step of taking off the sheets. I wish there was a product exactly like this but with an all cotton top.

I purchased two of these (with the intention to rotate 1 when the other is being washed) for my older dog who has an occasional accident in her large crate. These have the potential to work for a smaller dog if you or someone you know is handy with a sewing machine ( just cut down to size and shore up the open ends).
These are much more earth and cost friendly than the disposable dog pads. Because of the large size I just tuck the edges around the dog bed so it stays in place and it doesn't move when she makes her nest for bedding down at night.

Secondary use ~ soaking up water from damp water-loving dog lounging in a vehicle. During hot weather our dog rides in the air conditioned extended cab with us in a dog hammock/seat cover. I placed one of these sheets in there with her and found it's worked very well for absorbing the extra water from her fur after she's been playing in water.

No fuss - easy open packaging. No weird odors, clean, and appears well made upon opening. So far I am very happy with product ( I have had mine for about a month) and likely to buy again in the future. Item is exactly as described and works as claimed. Haven't had for very long and only had to wash once (with no issues though I did line dry it in sun) thus far so I cannot comment upon durability.

Bought this for my dog because... Well, I'm one of *those* people. The old one was about half this size and lasted through ten years of multiple washings each week, but it was at its end. The material on this one is much softer than my previous one, and it covers a LOT more surface. So far it's handling well in the wash -- my one piece of advice there is to never use fabric softener on it, since it will mess with the absorbency. The "non-slip" backing isn't as non-slip as I'd hoped, which is a bit disappointing -- it definitely shifts some, but the large size helps. Definitely money well spent, probably worth twice what I paid. Now my dog can continue in spoiled rotten comfort.

My toddler is potting training and we are working on night accidents, my mattress was getting peed on a couple times a week and this pad has helped me not be stressed at night knowing if my toddler did pee it wouldn't spread on the bed. And it's washable which is not the case for my mattresz.
