We use the Supergate to keep the puppies out, or the grandson in. So well designed; it can swing out of the way and not alter the functionality of the room/hall where used. Needed this extension to bridge the room opening of greater than 6-foot width.

Needed a baby-proof stair gate to span two side-by-side staircases... one going up and one going down. Bought extra panels to extend it into a "˜D' shape to give plenty of room to enter/exit away from the stairs. Followed fitting instructions and it worked perfectly. Very sturdy construction with nice feel for baby - no apparent sharp edges. Gate opens easily and closes on its own. I am an engineer, so pretty fussy about construction of things I buy... this product gives me total confidence. Just one note... the ivory color really is ivory, not white. This was a little unexpected, but actually blends better than pure white, so we were very pleased.
Updated 5/16/18 - Gate still working perfectly. Someone asked a question about how to remove the bar to extend the gate. Added a video here to show that.

SO EASY TO add onto the North State Windsor gate we have. I thought it would sag in the middle b/c its 95 inches width. Not at all.

This extension works great with the North States Supergate Deluxe Decor Gate that I also purchased off of Amazon. I was able to purchase an open box item from the Amazon to save a bit of money. The normal price for just the extension piece seems a little high to me. The extension is easy to add to the gate - you just twist and pop off one of the end bars and then do the reverse to attach it. The gate is easy to configure in different angles and shapes to fit any opening. It attaches to the wall with brackets and a template guide is included to get the brackets installed in the right place. Once attached to the wall and the joints tightened between the gate sections to prevent movement in the gate, it is very sturdy. Overall, I think this gate looks better then many of the other pet and child gates available. I'd purchase this gate and extensions again should I have need for another one.

After the first gate that I bought worked out so well, I decided to buy another gate and extension to block off another area of my house. If you're like me, you might be wondering to yourself about how difficult it is to add the extension to the existing gate. Let me put your mind at ease; it is ridiculously simple. In fact, that's how I would sum up the whole installation; it was ridiculously simple.
