I like this item a lot and have had many friends compliment me on it as well. It is small, yet solid and frankly if it was bigger, it would be to heavy. I also like that it came with extra color coded replacement pads for the essential oil. That way I can keep track of what color is for my different oil scents when I switch them out. Just an FIY, be careful as to not force open the locket to far, IT WILL NOT OPEN ALL THE WAY, only about half way, just enough to get the pad in and out. If you force it could brake the hinge on it. If you find it hard to get the pad in or out, just use a toothpick or a pin.
Also, to be able to save and reuse the pads and keep them clean, I store each one in a small plastic zip baggie, marked with the scent so that way things don't get mixed up and messy!

Necklace and fragrance are lovely. I would have given it five stars if the oil didn't leak all over the gift box and ruin it. I had to clean the necklace and re-box it before gifting. That was disappointing. The oil does have a very relaxing scent, though a bit woodsy or masculine since I got this for my 82 yr old mother. I will substitute lavender for her and she will enjoy the necklace.

So, I am going to review several different things! I LOVE the oil blend included with this. It is lovely and I get comments on it all the time. It also shipped in a timely fashion.

That being said, I am VERY disappointed in my necklace. I have had it for less than 90 days and two of the magnetic closures have broken, which causes it to remain open and get stuck at times. I also bought another necklace in the mean time, make sure I take it off daily, and generally take good care of it. I just wish that it lasted a little bit longer.

Not a flimsy piece of junk. It has a little weight to it. It's solid. The clasp is magnetic and easy to open and close. I bought three, one for myself, my daughter and my mother in law in different front designs. Love them all! 24 inch chain that is not thin and flimsy either, it's actually perfect. Hangs pendant at top of cleavage.

When I decided to buy a diffuser necklace, I wanted one with some quality to it, and this fits the bill perfectly. It is about the size of a quarter, and about 3 times as thick as a quarter. The pendant feels nice, with a bit of weight to it, and the chain is attractive, unlike some of the other necklaces I looked at. The oils do not affect the inside of the locket in a negative way, and the smell wafts nicely from the pendant. The locket itself opens only partway, as shown in one of the photos; just enough to place in a disk and put oil on it. Forcing it to open further may break the locket. As a plus size woman, the 24 inch chain length puts the pendant just below my clavicle, which is a nice length for the kinds of clothing I wear.

The locket, disks and essential oil come in a box suitable for gifting. Inside the box, the locket and chain are in a tiny ziplock bag, which I later used to store the extra disks. The essential oil included with it is called "Inner Peace" and is a mix of Orange, Clove bud, Geranium, Lavender and Patchouli. I found it rather overwhelming and unpleasant at first, but it grew on me over time and as it evaporated some. Still, I am likely to experiment with other scents to choose which I like best. The disks (5 included) are washable, and about 5/8 " diameter.

I would highly recommend this difuser necklace as a quality piece of costume jewelery.

Edit: I ended up giving this to my mother for her 90th birthday. Not only does she love it and wear it almost daily, but her friends, especially some young neighbor girls and youngsters at church, stop her to smell what scent she has any given day. It's a hit!
