Very Happy

Bought 2 of these for my boys for an upcoming snorkeling trip in January, but one of them has worn his to the indoor pool as the water is so cold (and he is so skinny) it makes him turn blue and shiver after just a short time. He was finally able to swim for over an hour without turning colors! I usually have to pull him out and warm him up after 30 minutes for fear of hypothermia, but this wetsuit allowed him to maintain a good body temp until we were all ready to go home. I'm very happy with this product so far and will purchase larger sizes as he grows.
As for sizing, I think the size chart from Neosport was close, but we needed to order up a size because of long torsos. According to the chart, my small 9 year old was in the middle of the height range for size 6 and upper end of weight range for size 6. My 6 year old was in the middle of the height for size 4 and low end of weight for size 6. I got them both a size 6. My 6 year old has a long torso so I figured the extra length would be good for him. Size 6 fit him great. It was too small in the torso for my 9 year old though. We exchanged it for size 8 and it fits nicely. I would recommend going by your child's weight to determine sizing. If your child is at the upper end of the weight range, then size up.

Couldn't have been cuter

I got this for my son who was 1 1/2 for a spring beach trip and I was concerned that the water would be too cold for him. It turns out that he didn't spend much time in the ocean, but this wet suit was a great purchase. Originally, the suit was a little long in the arms and tight around his neck, but it worked just fine. A year later it still fits (as he has grown taller and thinned out)! We have used it a couple of times now, both at the beach and in the pool. It keeps him warm and he hasn't complained at all about it being uncomfortable. As with any wetsuit, taking it off can be a challenge, and don't even try putting it back on if its still wet. When it's dry, getting it on is a breeze. The zipper is sturdy and long. The quality is good. We haven't had any issues. Honestly, it isn't like he is doing any extreme water sports in it, but he does look totally adorable. This purchase is a no-brainer. If you need an infant or toddler wetsuit for occasional use, this one is well worth the money.
This suit is great for small children who need extra layer to stay ...

This suit is great for small children who need extra layer to stay warm during swim lessons My son is small for his age and really skinny. My son used to have blue lips after a 40 minute swim lesson. He now stays warmer and is much happier. This is the second Neo Sport wet suit I have purchased. He outgrow that last one and I purchased the next size up. I rinse the wet suit after each use to eliminate fading due to the chemicals in the pool. His first suit still looks great after using it for two summers of use. It does have slight smell but it's not bothersome. The zipper does bug his neck and so I leave a couple inches not zipped up and use the Velcro to keep it sealed. I wish it were long sleeved and the legs would go to the knees. With these minor problems, I am happy with it and glad I purchased another one.
Excellent. But legs/sleeves MUCH shorter than pictured.

Excellent quality. Bought a size 4 for my average-sized 3 year old and it fits with some room to grow for next year. She doesn't mind wearing it (though be careful when you zip the neck so as not to pinch skin with the zipper, oops), and it does seem to help keep her in the water longer (in just a bathing suit she'd get too cold very, very quickly). Note, however, that the sleeves and legs are MUCH shorter on her than they are on the girl in the picture. The sleeves cover only a inch or two past her shoulders, and the legs only halfway down her thighs. Would have gotten 5 stars if as pictured (would be a bit warmer if legs/arms were longer).
It certainly keeps my girl warm

My girl is 5.5 years old, 42" tall and weighted 39 lb. I got her a size 4 wetsuit and it fits her well. The wetsuit is tight enough at arms and thights, and it is not too loose at the body. It certainly keeps her warm. Without a wetsuit, her lips started to turn purple after swimming for just half an hour (in a heated indoor pool but only at ~77 degrees). Now she has no problem swimming for 2 hours.
And it looks very cute on my girl. I seriously considered buying a wetsuit for myself after seeing hers, but too bad I have more than enough body fat to keep me warm and I don't need one :)
Note that even with this wetsuit, my girl still feels cold if she sits there doing nothing. If you need something really warm, get one that fit your kid well (it should be tight at all places, of course not too tight), and get a full wetsuit with long sleeves. Accordingly to the size chart, a size 3 one would fit my girl better and should keep her warmer.
