After reading the information on the product I was under the impression that these would work to clamp down on a 5/8 inch hose. These will not clamp a 5/8 inch hose. They will end up being too big. The reason for the one-star review is all 4 hose clamps were slightly a different size. I was able to shave a little bit off the ends so the hose clamp will close tighter. out of all 4 only one would work on a 5/8 inch hose. They say 15.5 - 17 millimeter on the package. one of the clamps in the set of 4 would only close down to 19 millimeters none of them closed all the way to 15.5 milliliters or even 16 millimeters. These are a cheap knockoffs, do not waste your money. I plan to request a refund
Much better than using plastic wire ties

Much better than using plastic wire ties. If you're going with barbs fittings, then don't skimp.... get yourself some of these. They put the right amount of pressure on the tube at the head of the barb so you won't need to worry about leaks if your tube shifts ever so slightly. Make sure you have a screwdriver with a set of hexagonal bits.
