Was my favourite but broke after a few months - don't even know if Amazon or seller will do anything. What a waste. Can someone help me with this? I bought the pen as well. But the pencil is toast. How do I act on the warranty of this product amazon?

Perfect pocket sized pencil
Highly recommended.

Superb. Carefully and precisely engineered, light, actually more enjoyable to use than my Mont Blanc pencil which costs ten times as much. Highly recommended.
design leaves something to be desired

The cap posts oddly, and when closed, the lead can still be advanced, which is an odd design choice. I expected that the cap would post against the ferrule, which would slide down over the barrel when pressed, but instead, the part behind the ferrule slides inside the barrel to advance the lead, which means that the cap does not sit against the ferrule. The rear part is not a tight fit inside the barrel, so the cap can wobble a bit when posted. The pencil works well and doesn't have any obvious quality problems, but it's not designed as well as it could be in my opinion, especially considering that it's not a cheap pencil. I ordered it as a matching set with the pocket fountain pen, which (having no mechanism) does not have the same problems, but the design quirk of this pencil means that they don't match exactly. I suppose it simplifies determining which is which, but I had hoped for a closer match. If the design matched the manufacturing, it'd be well worth the price at $15-20, but as it is, I'd rather have paid $5-8.
