Really Solid Binder

I've used this binder almost daily for the past month, (and it has taken a lot of abuse during that time!) and it still looks brand new. The opening and closing mechanism is definitely superior to other binders I've owned, and I like the folder in the front. For frequent use I think it's worth the money. I have a less expensive one for stuff I don't need to access as frequently.

Got as a Warehouse Deal. It was sent in a thin plastic bag. That had holes in it, and the binder also had holes in it. The only reason I kept it was that I think I damaged it in one place when opening the bag. A little duct tape and it's good to go.

This is the perfect binder for all of the recipes that I print from online sites. It's sturdy and seems durable. The rings always stay tight when locked. The rings open and close easily. I like that the binder is wide enough to use my Avery Extra Wide Index pages so that they don't extend beyond the binder. It's easy to add a decorative cover on the front as well as on the spine. I chose the red color to match the accents in my kitchen. I haven't had this binder very long, so I can't speak for longevity, but right now it's really the perfect binder for my recipes.

I love the pockets of this binder and the 1-click open/close button. The only thing that has me disappointed (and the reason this gets a 4 star and not a 5 star) is that the cover, where you can slide a title page or something in to, can be damaged easily. Just from putting it in a backpack and using it for school (I am really gentle and careful with my stuff), the cover is now damaged. Now I am a college student so I do put a lot in my backpack, but when I noticed the scratches and dents in the plastic (which are very hard to miss), the only things that were in front of it were my planner and iPad. I also have a 1 1/2-inch version of this binder and the same thing happened to it.

Talk about durability! My college bound kid had one one these binders all through high school and loved it. It was starting to Rip in the corners and was showing its 3 yr life time of high school abuse. Just bought her 2 more for college. These are very sturdy binders and flexible at the same time in the backpack.
