Love JJ's Glaxed Snack PIes

I took a chance on this because my interest began with something called Little Debbie pastries in the Seattle area. I actually bought because the price was a bit higher, anticipating higher quality ingredients. I was not disappointed. I like the solid individual packaging for freshness on demand. You can't really get that with the local bakery and the local bakery doesn't actually make anything like this. I loved Hostess Pies when I was a kid. If you liked Hostess Pies then you should like these. I have ordered twice and will order again. Do not let reviews on particular flavors sway you. Everyone has different tastes.

I liked these more than I'd expected to. The crust is very like the Hostess pies I had when I was a kid, dense and chewy. The banana filling is clearly banana without overpowering you. The price was high, but not unacceptable. I will order again.

Don't waste your money. Banana Cream Pie sounds good, but this is not very good. It just has a bland taste.
