Best epoxy on the market?
R. Davis✓ Verified PurchaseJune 15, 2023
I haven't tried all the epoxies on the market so I can't say this is the best. I've used several though and both the 15 min. and 30 min. BSI epoxies are the best I've used. Same thing with the BSI super-glues I use. You just can't go wrong with BSI products, period.
I liked the product, but it was hard to dispense

I bought this after my 9 oz. supply of Great Planes 30-minute epoxy finally needed replacement. It took me 8 years to use it all up, so I thought this smaller size of a similar product would work just as well.

I use epoxy to glue together 3D printed materials, including PLA and PETG. I find epoxy to be a more reliable adhesive product than cyanoacrylate "super glues." Unlike super glue, I've never had an epoxy glue-up fail, and it does much less damage to my fingers and nails.

I also use epoxy in my home woodworking shop to fill and stabilize knots in wood, to fill occasional open spaces in finger joints, and even to fill the rare misplaced mortise hole. For me, it is a lot easier to use than mixing sawdust into yellow wood glue, and the result even after sealing with polyurethane looks just fine. I can even securely re-cut mortises into epoxy filled spaces.

As I expected, the Bob Smith epoxy works equally well to fill flaws and repair knots. I bought the 4.5 oz. package. My only complaint is that the smaller bottles are stiffer, which makes them harder to squeeze and dispense product than I got from the previous product. Not much of a complaint, really, and far superior to the hypodermic-style dispensers that have never worked correctly for me.
BSI sells the best adhesives only.

Been using BSI stuff since I was a young man building my first Goldberg Eagle II. Always top quality. Keeps well in the fridge.

Good high strength bond for fly lure heads. Allow you to work it for 30 minutes bonds hard in 24 hours best result 48 hours . After catching a few fishes I reapply light coat for the fly eyes to gloss up.
