Accidentally snapped the tip off my original pen nib from a dropped pen, and greatly appreciate that Microsoft created replacement nibs for their pens. Wish that Microsoft did make these nibs less prone to damage as it was a very minor drop but for the price, it's definitely a better value than needing to replace the entire pen. The design of the packaging is very innovative to remove the old nibs and store the new ones. I primarily use the 2H size and it's great for taking notes. Shipping was quick and my product did exactly as I needed it to.

Work pretty well. Easy to replace. It does take some time to figure out how to take the old one off the pen, since the one I have was broken from dropping, so there was nowhere to grab it. Once that was done, install the new one was really easy.
I got to try out the different tips. But still go back to the old one to use. Once I have more time after finish teaching, I might go back to try out the other tips since I have them now.

Same cost as at the microsoft store. I like the tip diversity depending on what I'm doing or what program I'm using. The main tip is my go to but when I need more detail or wider brush strokes I switch the tips accordingly. All in all it works well if you actually need it.Otherwise don't waste your money, the standard tip will work for just about anything the average person would need.

These should come with the surface that includes the pen. But they don't so I had to buy them. This is the only reason I am taking away a few stars. You would think that paying over 1k for a computer would get you some pen tips.

Received this item on time and as described. I have the Surface Pro 4 and pen. This is wonderful for just about everyone- if you like to write with the surface pen (i write pretty much everything) then this is a must! And also if you don't like the way the original surface pen writes then I suggest you try this out. The selection of nibs lets you find a comfortable choice that suits your needs. If you draw or do calligraphy digitally then having this set allows you to make thin or bold lines, etc. Basically, if you have a surface pen, then get this kit!
