Yes - this works on an induction oven. It's ok, but there is a sizeable gap between the the big streamer and the bottom of the pot, which is a waste is space. If you are cooking a bunch of potatoes, it's very easy for the water to boil over because the big steaming basket is short. It's a decent pot, but if I saw it in the store, I'd select a larger one. Induction is great but finding the perfect cookware can be challenging.

I needed to replace a 8 qt Ninja stockpot that the nonstick coating began to fail the first time I used it and decided on stainless. Inserts are a bonus, cooked up a batch of noodles, did take a bit longer to boil the water because it takes a bit more water with the insert - not a big deal for me.
Overall seems to be quality and should outlast me. No nonstick coating to fail!!!

Very high-quality and beautiful finish on this pasta pot. I just wish the strainer was made deeper so you don't have to fill the pot completely with water. I purchase this pot so I can cook a large amount of pasta, two small packs. But because of the design of the strainer you have to put at least 6 to 7 quarts of water to boil to be able to cook two small packs at one time, it's taken twice as long to cook. Too much waste of space between the bottom of the pot and the strainer.
