Worked great for the first 3 or 4 times I had it running. My son loved it, but took it out the other day and during the priming sequence when starting it up the head would rotate then get stuck, and the R2D2 would start making loud clicking sounds. Seems like a gear in the head got stuck or something. Either way it is now useless and just sits there.

Works maybe a dozen time than no bubbles just moving noise maker. Would not recommend for bubbles but if you want noise and a head spinning around than this is for you. Be good for New Years Eve racket maker...good luck.

Kids love it, and I don't have to feel light headed blowing bubbles anymore! The unit seems to work/stop intermittently - but mostly works. The little mechanism that goes up and down in the eye (where the bubbles come out) will just stop moving even when the air is being blown out. Still worth the price for having R2 hanging out with us camping.
