I risked these in spite of some negative reviews. Very happy I did. Mine are very well made, love the doesn't-mess-the-counter feature. Mine are quite smooth. As soon as they came I oiled them with bamboo mineral oil. They look fantastic and give me a much safer alternative to the plastic we were using. They are good sized utensils, as well, and feel good in your hand.

I don't have much experience with wood based utensils, but I have noticed that the corners of the spatula are starting to "rub away". There are also a few splinters sticking out of a few of them on the handle area.
Either than that, they are easy to clean.

Love the "rest" on the utensils

We have had this set of bamboo utensils for over a month now and are very pleased. What sold me on this set in particular were the rests. My wife loves to lay utensils on stove eye covers, the counter, etc. So the rests mean there's one less thing I have to clean up. I'm only giving the product 4 stars because one of the utensils had a faulty rest and it fell over on its side. I contacted Amazon and asked them to have the manufacturer/seller just send me the one piece to replace. Instead, Amazon refunded the order. (Works for me.) I wish Neet made other individual items to add to this set though. I'd love a spaghetti spoon and tongs that match. Please note that we have not put these in the dishwasher yet. I hand wash them by choice.
