We had to have 3 trees cut down in our yard. They left the stumps. I decided to put a bird bath on each one and plant butterfly and humming bird plants around them. Now it is peaceful and tranquil to sit on our back balconies and watch the butterflies and humming birds do what they naturally do.

i do like so far. had 1 other plastic one was ok , was darker maybe grew algae quicker. had metal one that rusted fairly quickly tried sanding and painting but didn't hold up. chose this for lighter color and appears well made. good size, no algae. have only had about 2 months. will try my heater in it this winter

DON'T LEAVE THIS OUT IN THE COLD! I bought this back in June so now I cant return it, even though the very FIRST time we got a cold snap, the bottom cracked and completely pulled away from the bowl - Now I have to trash this after only 5 months of use - I paid $55 for this thing!! The seller should know better - There were NO warnings or instructions to bring this inside from the cold! Plus, after only a few weeks the clear protective coating pulled off, leaving shreds of clear strips - I could live with that, but I cant use it now that it's cracked completely around the bottom. SHAME ON THIS SELLER!! DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!!!! Very disappointed that Amazon can't help me with this since it is an obvious seller fault and poor product.

Light weight, sturdy, looks like clay, easy to clean, secure when on pedestal, filled with water. Only problem---a little too deep to safely attract birds. They don't bathe in it. Otherwise fine.
