Good buy, quiet, easy to use.
Ron B.•October 7, 2017
Surprisingly good considering the price point. Quiet, easy to use, looks great and after a week has held up well. The turret wells aren't deep enough for skirted Falcon tubes, but with some modification to the top inner lining with tin-snips it's been working fine.
Stainless steel sleeves great for autoclave

Broke on the first use.

This is not a good centrifuge. My lab purchased one, and it seemed ok when I did a test run with nothing in it. Then I loaded a couple of samples into it (perfectly balanced, so no user error there), and it was fine for a minute, but when it got up to speed the plastic body cracked, the lid flew open, and I got sprayed with HCl from my samples because I was standing too close to it. Please, for your own safety, do not buy this centrifuge.

The product powers on just fine. It makes annoying beeping sounds when you press each button and the closing/opening mechanism is a little faulty. But you get what you pay for. Otherwise, it works as expected.
