My dog chewed up my flat cap from a more expensive maker, and it wasn't replaceable. I'd bought an Epoch eight panel some time back that I hadn't been wearing because I didn't care for the Maroon color, it was for an event, but it fit perfect and looked great. The quality was as good as from more expensive makers, so I ordered a charcoal flat cap in the same size, thinking it'd more modest than the maroon eight panel. The charcoal flat cap showed up and fit just like the maroon eight panel, both mediums. Epoch's mediums fit me perfect. I haven't found consistency in sizing in any other company, Epoch's are consistent between eight panel and flat caps anyhow. I now have three Epoch flat caps and the eight panel and they all feel and look perfect. I even bought a purple flat cap, why not, it's awesome! As mentioned I have dogs. These fabrics are warm but don't gather dog hair, its good not to not have to shake the dog hair off before looking presentable, which may have enticed my dog to chew the fore mentioned famous maker cap. Yes there is a small metal pin on the left side, but it is small and not as garish as an embroidered logo and brand name and you could clip it off with side cutters if you cared to. Yes they do save expense in shipping by not using boxes, but it's no worse than the way I treat my caps anyway, and any wrinkles have disappeared after wearing for a day. I highly recommend!

Got this to replace a hat my husband lost. Size is accurate. It folds up quite well so I can keep it in my large purse (so it doesn't get lost again.) Price was good, seems like a quality hat. We looked at the $60 ones in stores, but this one was much more reasonable.

Wore it out the other night and I love it.

The cap is soft but I constantly don't mind it. I have no complaints about this hat
