It took me a long time to choose a waist cincher off Amazon, since there are so many things to consider.

After reading reviews, I decided to order a size down. The size I bought fit (got a L, though I wear an XL) but I am naturally bigger on the bottom, so I should have ordered my normal size. I can still wear it, but it cuts into my big legs a bit. Not awful, but definitely requires adjustment.

As for the girdle part, it definitely does its job. I didn't feel uncomfortable in it, but I did notice that my stomach muscles felt a bit fatigued from my muscles being held in. While I initially thought this might be good for my abs, it also sort of worries me, so I'd like to get another one a size up and give that a try.

It was pretty easy to put on. I just fastened the top and bottom hooks then worked my way up.

Though it's not horribly noticeable under clothes, I wouldn't wear it with something super form fitting -- there will definitely be lines if you're wearing something directly on top of it that doesn't provide any coverage.

I guess the bottom line is that it's definitely true to your normal sizes. Ordering down can make the leg openings uncomfortable if you're bigger on the bottom.

This shapewear is great!!! I am a very, very curvy woman in my 20's (think "little in the middle but she got much back") and was looking for something to wear under my wedding dress. My wedding dress is fitted to my hips and then poofs out, so I only wanted something that targeted my midsection/back and wouldn't roll down (the dreaded shapewear roll!). I particularly was interested in finding something that didn't feel like it was cutting the circulation off to my gracious thighs and booty.
I read tons of reviews before buying this and I'm thrilled with it.
I love the three rows of hooks-and-eyes in the middle so that you can choose your "level" of cinch and I particularly appreciate that this shapewear doesn't feel like it's strangling my bum or thighs. I wore this around the house for awhile and it felt fine while sitting, standing, or walking.
I wish it came up just a smidge higher under my chest but other than that this one's a keeper. I'm going to recommend this to my family, too!

I've never been one for shapewear, but I wanted something that would help prevent the dreaded FUPA that some women acquire after childbirth.

I wanted to use the measurements recommended, but this is my first baby, so I went up 1 size in case my hips and pelvis permanently changed, so far so good. Panty lines are barely noticable, and it's also perfect for those of us who are "short-waisted". Slight discomfort is to be expected, but it's not extreme. It's supportive and does a great job helping your abs "remember" their position prior to baby.

For postnatal ladies, I would recommend getting 2. One "not as tight" for right after birth, and another for after the womb returns to its position but the belly still needs some decompression and support.

Wonderful fit, material and construction is phenomenal. There is absolutely no roll down like other products I have tried recently, and the price is fantastic. The material breaths and is comfortable to wear. A major plus are the hooks in the crotch which of course help when you have to use the ladies room, but there isn't just one row of hooks, there are three rows, which for me is wonderful since I have a longer torso and this makes it where I'm not having to tug at the shaper so much to get it where it needs to be. This addition also helps it not feel I'm being cut in half down there. This also seems to help with my posture as well as back support. I would say buy it, buy it, buy it. In addition, this company has been especially wonderful to me as a customer. The way I see it you can't lose with them.

I typically wear a size medium/large, and I ordered this in a size medium. It fit perfectly and did a great job at holding my tummy in. The only advice I might have is to not wear this under super thin material by itself, as it shows through a little. However, I paired this under a slip, and I looked great wearing a tighter dress made of a silky thin material. I would definitely recommend this!
