They lasted less than six months...
ShayShayC•April 28, 2017
I bought these 125 days ago and they are already falling apart. It's pretty disappointing. They are really fun when they work but we got less than six months use out of them.

Fun but Medicore

These are fun to add to the kit but they were not designed well.
1st. The cymbals, especially the yellow one tend to fall down after playing a song or two. I had to buy steel clamps from Lowes to hold these, but these worked perfect for that. Also, I wish they had one on a boom stand so you could move them around more for different people. Basically once you get them sturdy in one place with the clamp you cannot adjust them for other players. That's a huge downfall right there.
2nd. The cymbals only have hit detection in a small area it seems. Hitting anywhere outside this area will cause you to miss a note. I was more accurate on regular drums than pro, but the cymbals do make it feel like more like a real kit in a way. I really wish they would improve these because Rock Band is so fun and the drums are freaking awesome. I may have to end up getting a pro electric kit eventually.

Already Busted... For No Good Reason
JuxtaRosed•March 28, 2017
My expansion kit arrived about two weeks ago, and the crash (green) cymbal has already gone kaput. I don't beat the living hell out of these things, and now, my Xbox won't read the green cymbal unless I hit it in a spot close to the center (which is close to the box the aux cable is attached to). If I hit the cymbal with an actual drum stick.... No go.
Needless to say I'm totally disappointed in the crappy quality of this product. I thought about buying another set to have a new crash cymbal and two spares, but I'd rather put the money toward a Roland e-drum kit that won't bust so easily... Unless MadCatz wants to replace my faulty purchase.
