Good little heater for the price. Only complaint is no remote or digital temp control. There is a dial you have to turn and find the right setting for your home. Also bought the blower. You have to manually turn that on and off each time. Overall good value, gets really warm and looks pretty good. I had a problem with the temperature control cover latching closed, eneded up being a broken magnet- they issued a partial refumd right away, i was able to get a replacement magnet free from the manufacturer. very happy with

Have used the stove with several weeks and enjoy it so far. Heats up quickly and looks attractive. Only down side was the cost to have it installed by HVAC contractor. I am not familar enough with natural gas hookups to do it myself so I had my HVAC people come in and run the natural gas supply line off the gas forced air furnance they installed a few years back. It materials and labor it cost almost double what the stove itself costs but I have to consider I now have backup heat if our electric would go off in cold weather.

Put this in my 1500 square foot shop. Bubble insulation on walls and roll insulation on ceiling. My shop/ man cave is nice and toasty. I opened my roll up door today to get my jeep out, 35F outside. Closed my door and within 20 minutes, shop was warm again. Yes the flame gets small sometimes but that is only because the temperature is achieved. I see others feed back and say the flame keeps getting smaller, that is because it is simply cutting back when it gets close to set point. If a fire is what you want to see, open a window or door. If heat is what you want, this is the ticket.

I installed a new heat pump 2 years ago to save $ but..... it cost me a lot to use it to heat the house which has all energy upgrades. From Nov. 18- Dec.18 I saved $128. over last year. My N gas bill went up $13. but my electricity bill went down about $140. :):):) Thinking back I did install the last 4 small dual pane windows and got a gas clothes dryer early this year which also helped but the new gas heater saves a lot . Looks like it will pay for itself in a little over a mild California winter so we are very happy with it :) I did install the Hongso fan along with a magnetic thermostat switch to turn the fan on/off. So the fan is still adjustable but also automatic when plugged in :)
Then once the temp knob was adjusted to keep the desired temp... You can set it and forget it if you keep the house warm all day. Ps.. we do keep the unused room doors(family room and 1 bdrm) closed so the heater keeps our kit,LR,hall and 2 bdrms warm so aprox. 1200 sq. ft is warmed
