This is pretty good tea with a slightly sweet flavor

This is pretty good tea. It has a slightly sweet flavor compared to some, and has a mild flavor. My wife really likes it. She says it has a slight nicotine taste, but I think she is imagining it. She quit smoking last year, and is looking for a crutch to bring back that feeling. (I hope she doesn't read this) I like to mix it in a 50/50 blend with a good green tea, and a few slices of ginger. It gives it the bolder flavor that I prefer, and I still get all of the health benefits of all three. I make a couple quarts in a big 3L tea kettle, and we drink it cold or reheat it. It gets pretty dark. We add water a couple times and let it simmer longer each time. after it stops getting dark we start again. When it gets a bit lite, I grind a bit of the leaves into a powder with my fingers and sprinkle it in the cup, so I can reactivate the AMPK Activator before I make more. I don't want to pour it out. In the AM I drink a cup cold to wash down my Quercetin and Berberine capsules. It seems to help control my weight. I just wish they offer this in the one pound bag. It always says unavailable.

I feel compelled to post a review, after reading the other reviews, and trying this tea. Even though I had some reservations, because is not low in price and some negative comments. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality. The residue that some people complain about I have seen with many teas in the past. It stays at the bottom of the cup, and you don't have to drink it.
This tea is definitely not bitter, and the sweet taste is not sugary, but slightly sweet,there is a hint of smokiness, but very subtle.It leaves no aftertaste, or any lingering digestive issues. I really enjoy it.
If you like plain runa,yerbamate, and shade grown green teas, this is kind of a cross between those, but unique in it's own way.
This tea will definitely stay in my rotation, and I do recommend it.

I have been telling everyone about this tea. Not only does it taste fantastic but the results of decreasing my knee pain has been phenomenal. Within a few days of drinking this I noticed my knee pain was significantly reduced and my mobility was improved. After a few weeks I was amazed I could go up and down stairs without thinking about it. Previously it was a conscious effort as I knew each step was going to hurt. Not anymore!!! I've tried many supplements and external treatments and the results were not nearly as good as this tea has been. I drink one to two cups a day, would drink more but I never seem to fit it on. I can't say enough good about this tea. I even ordered a bag for my mom and shipped it to her as she has arthritis in her back and has intermittent significant pain. She loves the taste, will see how her back holds up through the winter. Just so you know I was not paid or compensated in any way for this review. I like to report when I think things aren't what they advertise and think it's only fair to report when a product is incredible too!!

I want to thank the Immortalitea Company ( and the God who helped me find you) for bringing us this tea. I am the sole caretaker for my severely handicapped son - 2019 will make our 40th year together. He's pretty much a cerebral palsy quadriplegic, with a feeding tube, nonverbal, legally blind, with some behavioral issues. He does not sleep well at night, so we have had almost 40 years of sleep deprivation. To say I was burned out is an understatement. I had constant anger, not just at him but at everybody and everything. I have always been a person who never loses her temper and is always in a good mood. That finally ended several months ago. If it wasn't for this tea, I don't know what would have happened. This tea has given me (and indirectly him) a life worth living. I no longer lose my temper and found out that some of his behavior issues were just him reacting to my misery and anger. I wake up happy (even in the middle of the night) and even when he really tries my patience, I am calm and his misbehavior just doesn't bother me. What do you call the opposite of burn-out? Also I am asleep about 2 minutes after my head touches the pillow. I think this tea has saved our lives. I intend to try giving my son this tea to see if it affects his sleep. He now gets out of bed almost every night, and IF he sleeps more, he sleeps in his wheelchair. If he could sleep all night in bed, that would mean several more hours of sleep for us both every night. Think of what it would mean to all the people afflicted with cerebral palsy if they could calm their body down. I will comment again after we see how he reacts. To the Immortalitea Company, you are heaven sent.

I am so in love with this tea. I am naturally very high strung and struggle with a lot of anxiety her interferes with my ability to think efficiently.
