Sturdy and works great

This is the perfect mop handle! It is sturdier than the one I have had in the past, and that one didn't have a telescoping handle. The pads I have fit just exactly right - some handles are a couple of inches wider where the pad attaches, which is just asking to scratch your wood floors. I use this to dry mop dog hair and dust on my wood floors, and i can get under end tables and chairs easily. Kudos to the company for stellar customer service, too! The first handle arrived with a crack in the part that holds the two telescoping ends together. I could have used tape to remedy, but the company shipped another one to me when I heard of the problem.
Highly recommend. Quality and effective mop...wet or dry.

I first purchased this for a vacation rental in Florida. I thought it was a great mop and I left it there since the owner paid for it. Almost a year later, he said it was still in good condition. This one I purchased for my own house. The pole has a no slip adjustable and sturdy pole which swivels nicely. The mop head (which I also use wet to mop the floor) is dense and does a nice job of picking up anything left on the floor. It attaches tightly to the flat floor plate. Really like this mop.
Defective handle

The ring around the handle to tighten or loosen the telescoping shaft wouldn't turn to the "closed" (I assume that means "tightened" or "locked") position, even with vice and large pliers. I had to Guerilla-tape the shaft in the extended position. (The ring wouldn't turn in either direction by hand.)

It does the job, but I found that the telescoping handle doesnt really want to stay extended. I fought it for a while, but eventually I found that the weight of the mop itself was enough to keep it touching the floor, so I just let the handle extend and contract. I would have liked to see a better handle though.
I purchase additional pads from a different company that aren't as good. I'll order more of the original pads

Update - Saw a hotel cleaning walls with a similar product. Tried it at home and was so pleased I ordered a second Dust Mop for my daughter.
I've broken 3 Swifter brand mops. It's mostly metal but still light weight. The areas that broke on the Swifter are made with heavier plastic. The pad works well dry and damp. Even just damp it removes dried doggie slobber spots. I purchase additional pads from a different company that aren't as good. I'll order more of the original pads. Much better cleaning.
