I think I have nine or more of these. Use to walk to the bathroom at night at my old place so I don't have to turn on any lights, and doing the same at my new place. Have them in my closets and gun safe too. I bought $10 worth of batteries (80) at my local discount store and probably only used about half of them in a year with them all. Just nice to get up in the middle of the night and walk around without turning on any lights on, works good in the gun safe and closets too.

I love these things! I've now bought 2 of the 3-Packs. I use them in: the locker I rent at the gym, my closets, my bathroom so that at night when anyone gets up to go to the bathroom up they don't have to turn the light on (it's an old house and doesn't have an outlet in the bathroom so I couldn't use a nightlight), and that stairway down to the basement. They're great because they are motion activated, bright white light. They turn off when there's no motion, and stay off when it's light out. Love these!

I just received these today, and already have installed them in my closet (intended location). The 3M adhesive patches work great holding onto the closet door/walls. The darker the location, the quicker the lights come on. I'm amazed at how well these work. If it's a bit light in the room and I want to use them, all I have to do is hold my hand briefly in front of the light and it turns on. I'll be ordering more!

I did order a second set of these lights and distributed them throughout the house. One in the linen closet, one in the bathroom and one in my daughter's closet. They work wonderfully. The one I have attached to my closet door frame, gets tripped every time I throw covers back to get up, or even just move in bed. They are very sensitive in dark rooms. But that's the point of these lights! I'll order more when I find more placesto put them.

This product comes in two versions. There is what I would cal a cream or off-white option and a very white version. I ordered one of each, for different areas. They come in sets of three. The lights are motion and ambient light sensitive. They react very well to motion within the intended range, and are more than bright enough for night-light usage. The only, minor, problem involves the light sensitivity. They should only function when it is relatively dark. The cream or off-white lights all function flawlessly. One of the white light set, however, seems to have the light sensor non-functional. It does not detect ambient light and therefore lights up whether there is plenty of light around it or not. This is an annoyance, but a minor one. The main result is that the AAA batteries in it will wear out much faster than those in the other lights.The lights are really cheap, both in price and operation. I recommend these lights. I suspect the malfunctioning light I received is the exception, rather than the rule.
Motion sensor light is perfect where you won't remember to turn it off!

These work perfectly for those areas where you haven't got electricity but need to see what you're doing. I have one in a small funky hallway where we need to keep the doors closed, but no one wants to do it because you end up in pitch black. Now, no problem: you open the door and the light goes on. You close the door and open the other, and the light turns off a few seconds later. It doesn't stay on too long either after you stop moving, and it doesn't turn on when the room is already light. Just the right amount of time.
The reason I gave it four stars instead of five: 1) there's two-way tape for you to stick it on somewhere, which is great, but it seems pretty likely that I'll have to pull it off to change a battery. Once they figure out a reasonable way to change the battery, I'll give it five stars. A slightly less problematic issue is that id doesn't have quite the reach that it says it does. Not a huge issue, because you can usually just wave your hands. But the hallway that I put it in is about 6 or 7 ft long. The light is no more than 6 ft in any direction. It works perfectly within about 4 ft, so closer to where the one door opens. Otherwise you walk into the hallway and wave your arms to get it to turn on, or just trust that it will turn on in the next 1-2 steps. But beyond those issues, it works exactly as I'd like it to, and saves a lot of aggravation when you can't see anything. I'll probably order more.
