Nice Pedals.

I already had shoes with the proper cleats, so I am already a Crank Brother's customer. I put these on my street bike so that I can flip the pedals and use regular shoes for the Saturday morning market. These pedals work great either way. I like that I can get started riding on the flat side and then flip the pedal and clip-in once I get going. Nice wide platform for regular shoes also.
Not as easy as Shimano.

I'm told they take a long time to break in, unlike Shimano. Still waiting,.. I do like that they have a larger platform on the flats side and feel solid on either side- not sloppy. They are lighter, also. And of course they look pretty good.
Perfect commuter pedal

I got these pedals to put on a new road / long range commuter bike. They're my first pair of hybrid pedals and I like them so far! I paired them with Five Ten Kestrel Boa Men's Clipless MTB Shoes (Grey/Slime, 10.5), seems to be a good combo.

The pedals were impossible to clip in to straight out of the box - I ended up spraying some WD-40 along the spring and let it sit for 5 minutes. After applying WD-40, the pedals worked great! Easy clipping in and out. (1 star off because of this and the paint on the spring.)

I wish the spring was anodized instead of painted, I've already scraped off some of the blue and exposed bare metal. Also, it feels like the flat side could have a bit more grip or slightly bigger pegs, but it's not that big of a deal if you're not mountain biking on these.

Initially, I was somewhat concerned about finding the clips because they're only on one side. But honestly, I don't really notice a difficulty there. It seems the flat side is slightly heavier, resulting in the clipless side being on top (usually). And I wanted a flat side so that I wouldn't be tied to a pair of biking shoes for short runs around town.
Nah

Very annoying pedal. Not sure what I was thinking. Cool concept but then reality sank in. If you like to ride anything harder than a green run these pedals are not for you. Imagine trying to flip the pedal to the side you want while navigating dicey terrain...........No. The flat side is good for sidewalk riding only.
Great idea that takes some getting used to

The pedal works well however next time I would opt to upgrade to the double shot 3 to get the adjustable pins. Beside that it does take some getting used too to switch back and forth on the fly out on the trail. It is nice to have the choice of which to ride.
