I ordered an XL based on reviews. It was way too large!
I normally wear a Large t-shirt. 44-46 chest. I purchased an XL based on reviews, but the XL was WAY TOO LARGE. It fit like a regular a shirt (no compression) and it hung down below my crotch. Maybe a large would have fit better?
The product looked to be well made and the compression (if it were the right fit) would maybe be a 5 or 6 out of 10.
This product is helpful if you have a little love hand action going on, but if you are obese or even pudgy you are going to be disappointed. No shirt can make you skinny.

Bought this for my husband, as he has both back issues and is also super self conscious about his moobs. After balking and thinking I was joking about getting him "a girdle", he tried it on and wore it for the next four days. Recommend for anyone who has loss a lot of weight. Over the year I've manage to go from ~280lbs to ~195lbs. This product works well with putting the loose skin in a tight firm place which makes you look much better. The first time i wore it out, i received lots of complements from close family and friends on how i looked. I now wear it when i work out and it seems to help a lot with the placement of my lose skin, not to mention the back support and my overall posture. I was able to fit into a Large just fine (195lbs, 6FT0IN, 34-36Waist, L-XL Shirts). It will be a tight fit but comfortable, and you do need to step into this shirt and pull it up.

5'10", 205, over 40 and decided to give this a shot to tighten things up. I ended up getting the large and have worn it several times. I may try the XL if I get another, but I did get several compliments the first day I wore it under a polo shirt. The compression is real and I'm happy with the results. My ribs on the other hand wanted to know WTH is going on. If you ever found relief in unbuttoning that top button of your pants, you will thoroughly enjoy when you get home and can take this thing off.
Which reminds me, they clearly suggest stepping in to the vest and pulling it up. That however is not confidence building, so I refused. Instead I found myself auditioning for Fight Club 2 trying to put this on. I knew it was going to be a challenge, and even had my wife watch. She hasn't laughed that hard, ever! My newest and current technique works pretty well. Similar to helping my young kids, if you go head, left arm, right arm then pull down; it gets the job done. You can NOT do any of those steps at the same time, else you end up in a straight jacket.
Once on, you have won the day. I'd suggest putting deodorant on after the vest, otherwise it'll get all over the place. I do plan to get more and hope to try an XL for comparison, but the L gave me the compression I wanted.

I got it today and put it on. I purchased the large and I'm 6'4 250 pounds. It really pulled in my gut and is long enough too. I'm just wondering if I went down to the medium if that would have been bad. I may order the medium and tey it too. I like it so far and its been comfortable all day. It was delivered this afternoon, and I put it on right away. I've been wearing it for 6 hours so far and even at times forgot it was on.
