I was a bit skeptical because Steelheads are now being made overseas. So, I decided to buy a couple of packs and do a little torture testing. Accuracy was superb of course and hit exactly where my practice tips did out to 40 yards. I shot one of the broadheads 30 times into different media to see how well they open and survive multiple shots. The broadhead always opened on impact and didn't have so much as a blade bend. I fired it into thick layered cardboard at least 10 times without a problem. I fired them into layered foam and solid dense foam targets and still look like new! These are one tough little head. I have harvested numerous critters with gold ones and have faith in these ones too.
Don't be worried about buying these you wont be disappointed.

In all my years of deer hunting ive never have had a more deep penetrating broadhead than the steelhead. I shot two deer with this broadhead this past season and got both pass throughs with them. One broke thru two ribs and the other went through both shoulders. Keep in mind I shoot heavy poundage at 71lbs but regaurdless this little broadhead makes a big hole and leaves a very good bloodtrail. Both my deer went down inside 80 yards. I highly recommend this broadheard not only because of the hunt but the price is great!

Love these broadheads. I have never lost an animal with these when I put the arrow in the right place. I lost one when I hit the shoulder and it was not a lethal hit. The new ones do seem a bit more flimsy than the old ones, but I still trust them.
