Like them better without the T-strap

I haven't danced in these shoes yet but wore them around the house for a couple of hours yesterday, and they were quite comfortable, a little snug in the toe box, but there was no rubbing or pinching anywhere. I ordered my usual size 8.5, and they fit fine, seem true to size. I didn't like the look of the T-strap, which was crooked on my foot and did not lay flat, so I did a T-strap-ectomy with a pair of sharp scissors, and I like them much better now. No problems with adjusting the strap length or figuring out the hook that holds the strap on once the buckle is hooked behind it. Pretty shoes, not sure how durable they'll be, but I'm looking forward to trying them out on the dance floor.
Caused awful blisters, very sharp and rough material

I hate this shoe. It looks nice, and fit me like all of my other dance shoes, but I ended up with blisters on my heels and top of my foot! The material used to make these shoes is very sharp and rough. My heel didn't slip in the back of the shoe, but the material was so sharp it cut into my heel. I tried desperately to break these in, I put a lot of hours and steps into them, but ultimately my only reward were blisters so bad I could barely walk, let alone dance!
LOUD crinkle noise!

The fit was great, the shoe was adorable, but poorly manufactured. The left shoe made a LOUD crinkly noise whenever I moved or stepped down. My husband thought I was stepping on packaging paper from the other room. The insole seemed to be not properly attached. When I pressed on the insole, it dipped significantly, resulting in noted noise. The right shoe made the noise as well, but not nearly as loud as the left. I saw that another reviewer noted the same issue, so perhaps a batch defect in glue/manufacturing?? I am sure that there wouldn't be so many positive reviews if this were a common issue. I don't want to take the chance on another pair, though. Bummer, because they were so cute!

Pretty, flexible, but little support for arches, but can't expect much for the price. Large but l bought a size larger based on reviews. I am able to tighten the strap and think I'll be able to use for a little ballroom dancing. I got the lowest heel which I love. It's nice to have a pretty, low heeled show that's comfortable overall, but be aware it's not great quality. You couldn't really wear these if you're a serious competitor, but the suede does have a decent grip and should be fine for someone who wants to ballroom dance for an hour or two or take some ballroom lessons.
