Think About Where You're Going To Put It And The Overall Dimensions

Rather than buy a regular stationary TV stand I decided to try this TV cart for both the mobility and ability to adjust the height of the screen. We have a built-in entertainment cubby in our bedroom that measures 60"w by 30"d by 72" h. My intention was to mount a 65" Samsung HD in that spot high enough to be seen over our bedposts.
The first base that was delivered to us had a cant in one of the sockets for the rollers. Either the socket wasn't drilled perfectly or the weld forced the threads out of line. I contacted the company to request a second unit (base only) and they had it delivered within two days. Once I began assembling the rest of the stand it became somewhat of a trial and error effort. Fortunately the directions weren't in Chinese but instead there were only pictures to follow with no written instructions. Depending on the desired mounting height and the size of the mounting holes on the back of the TV, hit-or-miss calculations had to be made to try to get the proper height and different screw/washer/bracket combinations were provided to properly screw the brackets into the back of the TV.
After experimenting with it for awhile I found the combination of parts and height estimation necessary to properly put this stand together. Since I initially always put things together without tightening the fasteners down properly, I had a little "slop" in the unit and the TV was heavy enough to throw the whole unit off balance. Off came the TV and I cranked down all the screws/bolts and ended up with a good solid mount. The next problem however was to put the TV and stand into our cubby so that I could place the last fasteners required to hold the TV secure to the stand. That's when I realized that I didn't have enough room to maneuver around the back of the TV to both secure it and hook up the required wiring.
One measurement I never made was how deep the stand was. Since the vertical mounting post is at the rear of the rolling platform, there was no room left to move the TV and stand around to finish off the project. It turns out that the rollers had a depth of almost exactly 30" so pushing the stand forward would cause it to fall off the cubby platform. In addition the TV when mounted to the vertical support was also at the back of the cubby platform instead of at the front. Instead of being anywhere near to being flush to the cubby opening, the TV was almost all the way to the rear. I guess that maybe I was trying to put a round peg into a square hole.
I will be keeping the unit since it is well-built and could be very useful to have when we move into a different home. It didn't fit the needs I currently have but it should be very valuable as a mobile cart. Just be aware of its limitations and the lack of good instructions.

Ok, it's a taken awhile to review this North Bayou Mobile TV Cart Stand. Why? Because I want to make sure of my review.
I have had this for awhile now and am very happy with it. First off, it is big. I was not expecting the footprint to be so large but when holding a 55" tv, I guess it should be. There is no danger of this tipping over. It rolls well on floors and does pretty good on carpet too.
The shelves are a hard plastic but hold my satellite box and blu ray player. The other shelf holds my sound bar and other small items. The shelves are decent size and pretty strong No issues with shelves.
The worse part of this is final adjustments and getting the tv at the level you really want it at. Each adjustment meant removing the tv so you can adjust heights. Once it is all where you want it, this thing is awesome and works very well. The very top shelf above tv I put my over the air tv antennae on it.
As far as quality, it is strong and though shelved are plastic, they are firm and pretty heavy duty. The stand itself is metal as well as the legs and the wheels work very well and smooth rolling. The stand and shelves look nice too which is another plus and have it set up in a spare room.
I cannot compare this with other brands or models as this is the first portable stand I have owned. The pricing on these are all over the board and this one was in a sweet spot where i hoped paying a bit more would mean better quality without breaking the bank. This stand serves my wallet and purpose well. Highly recommend it.

Does not tip or wobble with 65" TV at highest setting!

I purchased this heavy-duty stand for our church, which had bought a 65" Samsung TV. I was concerned that it might be tippy, or unsteady, as we needed to set the TV at the maximum height so as to be seen well in the auditorium. There was no problem at all: It sits high and does not wobble or lean. Instructions, the first half in English, the last in Chinese, were very clear. I also watched a video recommended by a purchaser, [...] but could have done it without the video. If you read the instructions carefully, you will have no problem. All the parts were in excellent new condition. I had only one problem, stuffing the power cord with its right-angle tines, down the tube. It tended to get caught. My only solution was to find some old stiff heavy-gauge wire, poke it down the tube, wrap the end around the right-angle part of the cord, and pull down. That solved the problem. I highly recommend this product!
Very Nice Stand

Very nice TV stand. I first set it up at the highest level. After putting on both shelves and the components I had on them, with the TV on it, lowering it to where I wanted it was very easy to do myself with the spring loaded pins. The directions on assembly weren't crystal clear but easy enough to figure out. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I had to set my 55" flat screen off center because I would have had to cut the mounting bracket to access all the wire plug ins. I didn't want to do that because I would have had to cut the formed for strength, bottom edge of the bracket. It's not really a big problem being off center few inches. The stand is still very sturdy. I couldn't tip it over even when I tried to. I have my sound bar mounted on top of the TV which really fills the room with sound. Overall, I'm very satisfied, especially for the nice price.
Very Happy!!!!

I'm so happy with this TV Mount! My 42" TV looks amazing mounted on the stand in my workout room. I also bought the additional shelf that Amazon sells to hold my DVD player and the other shelf holds the cable box. The video on YouTube helped fill in the gaps of the printed assembly instructions. I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend this product. Delivery was on time and the packaging of the product was excellent.
