This pen is very light compared to other brass pens I've used, and it doesn't seem to take any refills other than the ones it comes with. Construction is solid and the weight is fine in the hand, but I don't like the refill and I'm not sure yet whether I'll keep this or return it and look for something that will take refills from my favorite gel pens instead.

UPDATE: I tried a refill hack and YES YES YES IT WORKED! 😠I now have have a Cevinee hexagonal brass pen with a Uniball Signo refill.

Method: on the sign refill, use a dremel tool on the "collar" that connects the point to the refill barrel, just until the collar is flush with the barrel. (I had the metal file attachment but you can probably use one of the sandpaper ones too.) This will allow the tip of the pen to fit in the "feed" piece of the brass pen. Then, because the signo barrel is shorter than the cevinee, you'll need to cut about a centimeter of rubber tubing (I used the barrel of a used-up #G2 refill) and shove it into the barrel top make up the difference. I now have a smooth-writing, water-resistant refill in a brass pen that, while not as nicely weighted as more expensive brass pens, has the definite advantage of not being prone to rolling. And is also only like $14 plus the signo refill instead of $65+. Seriously I'm so pleased with myself right now. 😋

Pen is solid. I do a lot of paperwork all day and its nice to have what feels more like a tool, opposed to a disposable pen in hand. For the price, fantastic. I get a lot of compliments as well when people sign with it, and contrary to the idea that soneone might take it, it makes an impression enough that they are mindful to return it.

I like the brass pen but the ink cartridge is cheap and writes poorly. I will replace the ink cartridge and have a nice pen.

First impressions: the pen looks nice, but feels under designed. The corners of the pen are very sharp and uncomfortable to write with. The tip section that holds in the refill threads into both the body and the cap, so if you loosen the cap it sometimes loosens the whole tip. There isnt a fixed end point when screwing in the tip, so it's difficult to position it so the cap will clscrew back on seamlessly. The proprietary in refill writes okay.

It's nice and heavy. Writing is very good rollerball, almost like a ceramic ink cartridge. Threaded well. It's decent pen. But the lid doesn't align when screwed on and the edges are sharp. So not something to carry but not intended for it anyway as no pocket clip. The finish is not quality. Doesn't look new at all. But I actually like that. I'm actually a fan. But don't recommend it for those seeking something classy. It is not that. It is very cool though.
