Item arrived on schedule, and was relatively easy to assemble. My son is a drummer in the middle-school band, so we wanted this for him to be able to practice in the basement without driving everyone crazy in colder weather. We have a full drum kit in the garage for warmer weather. Once assembled and plugged in, only the left side of the electronic "brains" unit works. Nothing plugged into the right side (base, crash, etc.) is audible in the headphones. We switched the high-hat pedal (which plugs in on the left - and works just fine) to the right, and there is no sound. Tried changing cables, but it's pretty obvious that the right side of the control unit just doesn't work. Very disappointed. Hard to practice electronic drums without a base drum or crash cymbal.

this unit is a beast. so many options and very easy to plug up and jam. the only draw back is it took me a while to get use to the sensitivity of the kick drum pedal. kinda have to hover over it and not rest your foot on it. after i figured this out ....its a dream to have!!
