Works great for what I needed

Working great for me. Wasn't looking for speed just something to add more hard drives. I also have a Kingwin 6 button HDD saver to keep drives off when not using.
UPDATE-- still working great after four months - when you start getting into this many hard drives you learn new things like NTFS

I have had to expand my number of internal SATA ports, and this seems to work fine, as described, in my Win 10 system

Been running 24 hours here with (8) WD 4TB Reds. Had nothing but trouble running a RAID controller. It never worked right. Now I can just back up each drive and if I loose one, it's no big deal. With RAID that malfunctions, one drive goes bad, then the RAID screws up and you loose everything.
Got a lot of drives to work with? This is a simple option. No drivers to install, just plug it in and use it. right now watching 50-100 mb. transfers. Hey, it's just video so I don't need super fast, just reliability.
