I'm sitting on this couch cover right now I suppose it does it's job is pretty thin you're supposed to tie it underneath the couch it fits my 7 foot couch but it doesn't really stay in place we got it because we got a new couch and we have cats and kids I want to keep our couch looking nice so we thought we would try to cover it for a few years and hope that it stays nice underneath. But in all honesty he I catch looks like a giant brown Bob it's comfortable I suppose but I'll be looking forward to a time when I don't feel like I need to have this on my couch.

Works as well as expected on a leather couch. Slides off with use but a lot better than the blanket I was using. The back of my couch is tall so I fold that part under and just cover the seat cushions and arms. Fits perfectly otherwise. Haven't spilled liquids on it yet but it had been thrown up on by my toddler and it repelled quite well. Threw in wash and looks new again!
Note the name says water RESISTANT, not waterPROOF.

Very happy with these. Purchased because of a misbehaving household pet, and they've been a good investment. They look nice, and they're holding up decently after having been washed [sadly] several times already.

These are water RESISTANT, not waterPROOF. Just like the title of the item says. (Maybe the company changed it from "waterproof" to "water resistant", I don't know. All I know is I bought these when they were advertised as "water resistant".) We've found that if the liquid doesn't sit too terribly long, it won't leak through. If it sits all day long, it'll eventually leak through. Sorry I can't give you a bar on that, i.e. "If you catch it before ____ hours, it won't leak."

This is a really nice cover. The sage green is a true sage and the other side is definitely chocolate. However, I could have done without the chocolate edging on the green side. I took one star off because for some reason this company decided to put the pockets on the left side of the cover (when you are looking at it) on BOTH SIDES. Does me no good because that is where the end table is. Would be nice if it were on the left on one side and the right on the other. But for the price, it is worth it.

We have 3 Labradors and they do not know how to keep off the furniture. My mother in law moved in it with us and brought her living room furniture. She was afraid that the dogs would tear the furniture up, so I started shopping for covers for everything. This chair cover does not cover the entire chair, however it does cover the parts that the dogs would Waller on. The cover is not water proof but it does help if liquid is spilled because it was tested out. Not on purpose, but by accident. The liquid did kind of bead up until we could grab a towel and wipe up the excess. It did not go all the way thru to the fabric of the chair. This cover is reversible. It's tan on one side and brown on the other. We chose the tan side because our doge are yellow and they shed. A lot. And you cannot see the dog hair on this side like you can the brown side. On the arm of the cover, there is a pocket for your tv remotes. And the pockets are on both sides. This cover is machine washable and can be dried without any problems.
