The scale worked great for a few days and then quit syncing and quit measuring anything but weight. Multiple resets, Garmin support, research, add delete the account, try it on a new account, NOTHING WOULD FIX IT!!!
BUT!!
In a Garmin Forum I found a guy who had the EXACT same problem and he bought an ANT USB stick and connected the scale to his computer via Garmin Express and updated it and connected it to his account. I bought an ANT USB stick and connected it to my computer and presto the scale started working again and updated to the new firmware.
I believe that it worked for a few days and then tried to update firmware and failed. If you do a search you will find dozens of people in Garmin forums complaining about the scale working for a few days and then quitting.
I have a few other minor complaints but if you research my issue you'll see that it is common and if you're not looking for that kind of hassle then pass on the scale. It is slick looking and I do like it now that it is working properly.

Easy to setup & use. An absolute must if you are using a combination of Myfitness Pal and Garmin Connect. This has made data logging so much simpler.

I like this even though it costs so much more than others. Also, instructions for adding other people are kinda vague. Once you add them to your Contour contacts and then go to the scale and add a person, have the invitee check their messages in the contour app and accept.

Garmin customer support is terrible. They did not respond to my online inquiries. Connection with Myfitnesspal just randomly stopped working after working just fine for a week. Body metrics are not very accurate. My body-fat jumped from 12% to 8% in just one day. This was apparently due to a firmware update.
