Some of the inks were dry and don't work.

I remember loving this type of stamp as a kid. I was excited to purchase these for my son, but I was saddened to find the quality of the stamps to not even be functional... because of the following issues: 1) more that half of the stamp pads were set to far back behind the rim of plastic to fully make contact with the paper. 2) Some of the lids are hard to put back on the stamps preventing proper closure 3) some of the inks (particularly the yellow) have a grease that spreads around the paper where stamped a few day after complete. Now looking for traditional letter stamps with a separate ink pad.
Some don't work.

Some of the letters don't stamp at all on a paper, so my daughter was disappointed that she couldn't spell out her name with them.
