Nice Color & Pattern-Great Quality
Mary P✓ Verified Purchase•September 14, 2023
Nice color pattern. Very nice gauge which holds up and lays nicely without tearing. Always remember with patterns like this to avoid trying to add another section alongside as it is difficult to match up the design, but if you take the time to measure the space efficiently, it won't be an issue. It's only when you miscalculate your measurement and come up short that you need to worry about that. Just cut off the needed material for your measured working area and install it in one piece. Remove the backing paper in a 180 degree angle (almost horizontal with the main section) to avoid it catching on itself and secure one corner or side first before removing the entire backing paper for best results. Never get so frustrated with it sticking to itself that you pull vigorously, take your time and pull stuck paper slowly (use a blow-dryer on low setting to ease the task). When you pull harshly, it further hinders the release and you end up creating unwanted creases in the plastic. Never install shelf liner when you're fatigued, it will become a very annoying experience, no matter how good of quality the liner is that you are using.
Worked perfectly - no issues with stickiness

So pretty

I bought a solid print for my kitchen and this pattern in my bathroom was so pretty and the pattern is more forgiving. Easy to install and sturdy.
This is really pretty

This is beautiful! It is really hard to put on shelves (both sides - approx 55 inches long). If it a short piece then fine it works great. Long piece, well it stretches when peeling the back off. Yes, I read the directions and yes I had bubbles but used a plastic piece. In reality, it would help if two people were implementing this since I had 5 boards at 55 inches to do.
Having said that, I would buy it all over again.

Lovely pattern - and some installation tips!

Some tips for installation:
1. Roll it out across the floor and let it rest a few hours before you plan to install. That way it's not super curly when you're trying to lay it flat.
2. Make a template with some throw-away paper, like a paper bag deconstructed or newspaper - especially for hard to measure corners and edges. This stuff is curly and almost impossible to get a good template with when it's still on the roll. Plus you can get a perfect corner, and won't be afraid to cut a few times before it's right. Then you can simply trace around the template on the back of this and cut it to size.
3. Use the lines on the back to triple check that your template and your trace lines are straight.
4. When you go to peel it - DO NOT peel it off all at once. It will stick to itself (it's very clingy) or stick to your surface too early and you'll lose control. Instead, peel off just enough to get the two farthest corners down perfectly, then hold on to the backing paper with both hands and, keeping it tight, slowly pull it toward you - peeling it away from the contact paper and laying down more material in one go.
5. Use a tiny pin to poke at all the air bubbles. Trust me, this works wonders! The material is quite elastic, so even if it was stretched by the air, make a tiny hole and pat it down, and it will be good to go.
