I bought these for my art students to practice on and then take home. They were amazed by the process and we're entertained for quite a while. They still ask to use them, months later. Great quality and packaging. I recommend cutting up sponges to use with water, as bristles on most bushes for small children will scratch the paper.

I love this magick writing pad! I bought it to practice Chinese calligraphy. I only need to dab the brush in water and the characters look black on the writing pad. These display very dark black brushstrokes on a white background, with a brush loaded with water. The logo is small, but I'd prefer no logo at all on the "paper." It takes a bit of doing to roll them small enough to fit back into the tube, even if you only put one of the two back. The fact that it comes with two is a nice bonus, as is the storage tube, which can also fit a few paintbrushes or calligraphy brushes inside.
Fun to watch the writing appear and then disappear!
