Large but not plush

Just received these today. The best way I can describe them is large ribbed version of economy towels. They are not very plush or soft at all. They feel just like cheap towels but they are really big and ribbed. I bought these for me as "premium" towels then bought similar towels at Costco today for $7.99 each that would be the guest towels. Turned out the Costco ones were much softer and plush than these. Returning these and going to Costco tomorrow to buy more of the $7.99 towels.

I couldn't believe how difficult it was to find extra large hand towels so was happy when I saw these. I've always preferred thicker plusher towels but for what I was going to use these for I was wanting thinner. I purchased them hoping they would be thin enough. I received them right away and saw they were the size I wanted but they appeared to be thicker and plusher than I had wanted. I really liked the quality of them though and decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I kept them -- they've turned out to be better than I had expected them to be.

The product color was correct, and the toweling is thick and plush. Problem is, I ordered a set of 6 washcloths but got 2 washcloths and 4 hand towels. Why would the seller not have the sets pre-packaged correctly?

I want larger ones I didn't realize size, my fault. Thick, soft and HIGH QUALITY. Worth every dollar..looks great rolled on my wall U~ rack as an accent and use one for rack for drying hands and face. Larger than hand towels would fit a head of hair. But not large enough for shower or bath. Not too wrap around you. Still so thick you could likely dry off 100 % after a shower even with size.

I plan on buying more of these to have enough for guests. I bought these towels 2.5 years ago. They've held up well through 2.5 years of washing & bleaching. There is a place or two where a string as come loose over the years, but I just trim it down. At first I was really careful about how I washed & dried them so they'd stay nice and fluffy, but after a few months I just started throwing them in with the rest of my whites.
