These are very nice, but they did burn down quicker than I expected. Will not last the season if lit every night. We only lit once or twice a week, so we just made it through the season.
They drip and are only colored on the outside!

I bought these more expensive candles for my advent wreath upon reading reviews of the cheaper ones as being white in the center and still dripping. These are the same way! They are only colored on the outside of the candle, as they drip horribly! I will not be buying next year. waste of money.
It dripped everywhere and was bad, bad quality

It dripped everywhere and was bad, bad quality. The first
candle burned 2/3 of the way in 10 minutes. Did not even try the other ones.
Given the 5 star reviews, it looks like the quality really, really varies.

I also recommend trimming the generous wick after a burn or two

We've burned the 1st purple candle for 3 meals now and we're going to have to watch her and not burn them so long (usually only 10 minutes but now reducing to 6 or less). We usually burn the candles through the 12 days of Christmas (with the white candle in the middle) so we're trying to make the set last. The candles do appear to be drip-less. To help them fit snuggly in the wreath, and to help them remain completely straight, I did use disposable foil candle drip catchers. My set of candles arrived straight and undamaged. To increase the life, I also recommend trimming the generous wick after a burn or two.

They burned a little faster than I expected but were relatively dripless. The drips I did get could be from my children playing with them. They lasted the last half of Advent with some left over. Not sure if it would have lasted a whole advent season. We burned them for approx. 1/2 hr each evening during supper.
