The concept was a good idea but it's just not very practical. I have a small smartphone (iPhone SE) and the round ball head that is supposed to lock and hold the magnetic part of the mount keeps flopping down no matter how tight you turn the locking knob. This small phone continuously flops down in no time and bounces like crazy. It often will just fall off the mount in no time.
Fantastic concept - much better position than most mounts out ...

One problem though is you can't use the visor for blocking the sun with this in place. But for me, it's worth it

This mount works better than I anticipated. It is adjustable in several different ways. I only wish it could fold up 90 degrees instead of just about 45 degrees. I am using it with a camera monitor and the magnets appear to be strong enough to prevent it from falling off.

I drive a Ram 2500, so finding a phone holder is tricky. I tried the plug in holder type, but the phone is too heavy on the roads I drive. I thought I would try this visor option. I actually like it because it's high enough for me to see should I get a call. Also, it enables me to use the speaker more closely to my mouth. It holds the phone well with the magnets and can be adjusted several ways. The draw backs are...you can't really use the visor while it's installed...and the visor grip could have some rubber on it to keep it from slipping...again because of the roads I drive.

Really like this mount. WizGear makes several different magnetic mounts, depending on where you prefer your phone to be... Visor, window, dash, A/C vent, etc. The magnetic plate you use in or on your phone works with all of them. Iny case, I wanted on my driver side visor because it's close enough to see and hear, plus people can hear me over road noise when using speakerphone. For the person that gave it a low rating because it vibrated too much, you shouldn't be trying to watch a video while driving, and the vibration is a problem with your vehicle and not the mount itself. I've tried taking quick sharp turns to see if the magnet would hold or slide. It holds. Also, they give you 3 magnetic plates (1 rectangle without adhesive, 1 rectangle with adhesive, and 1 round with adhesive. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S4 with a LifeProof FRE case. I was able to simply use the rectangle plate without adhesive and place it inside case between the back of the phone and the back case cover. This is great because I don't have to use and adhesive, tape, suction cup, or alter my phone or care in any way. It just snaps on and snaps off with a little tug. Just what I wanted, and exactly where I wanted it. Great design!
