Nice but a little Small
stephanie✓ Verified Purchase•September 3, 2017
I have a rather large hand, I measure my middle finger hand to make I was ordering the right size, according to the measurements I was a LARGE, but the gloves fit a little tight and my fingers are missing a bit, they do feel a little small on my hand.
Can't return them cause I live outside US. I think I might reorder XL.
Gloves are very very warm, yet to test them in snow though, will update my review later.

finger sewn shut
Alexandra✓ Verified Purchase•April 11, 2017
I'm going to return the gloves. I slipped my hand in one and tightened the wrist elastic and the plastic holding the two ends together immediately snapped off. Then I put my hand in the other glove and the pinky is nearly sewn shut -- my finger can only go about half way in until it hits the lining which is at least an inch shorter than the end of the finger, making it so none of my fingers can go all the way in. I read on Amazon another reviewer that had a similar issue. I wanted to like these gloves, but they were poorly constructed and unusable so I will be returning them. As an engineer myself, I'd suggest they implement some more quality control. Seems like in their effort to keep the gloves surprisingly cheap, some QC spending was cut short.
good buy for basic ski gloves
Loria Cass✓ Verified Purchase•March 18, 2017
bought these for myself as a first time skiier. Needed a basic glove that was waterproof. these were perfect. the glove kept my hands warm and were waterproof. Compared favorably to $30 gloves at the ski shop. It is a one piece glove, not the more expensive kind with the removal inner liner. Those run about $60. Bought the medium and they fit well. I am female and have medium small hands with shorter fingers. The fingers were about 3/4" too long which I'm told is fine for a ski glove because you want them to be bigger.
Just one concern: The elastic string around the wrist for adjustment did pop out the first time I adjusted it.
Features to love: storage pocket; clips to keep gloves together or to attach to your jacket
Response from Seller:
Hi Loria,
The clamps on the gloves can be opened up to reinsert the cords. Please let us know if continues to be an issue and we will take care of you. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Have a great day and thanks so much for your time!

Really Warm
E. Hatcher✓ Verified Purchase•February 18, 2017
The gloves seem like the warmest and therefore the best I've ever had. I have a huge collection of gloves--see below on Reynaud Syndrome. These are much better than a pair of North Face that I bought some years ago.
I can't give them 5 stars, because there seems to be a defect in the right hand little finger: the inner layer wasn't inserted into the finger when I first tried them on. I was able to push that layer into place with massage from outside and finger pressure from inside. But that finger still has a "ring" sensation at its junction with the hand. (In anatomical terms it's just distal to the metacarpophalangeal joint.) The "ring" doesn't feel tight, so I'm not anticipating a problem. We've had an unusually warm winter so can't say for sure yet.
I think this relates to Chinese manufacturing methods. I got a pair of two-layer polyester gloves as a freebie from a charity. *None* of the inner fingers was fastened to the outer ones, and the whole works came apart when washed. I tossed those.
I live in the mid-Midwest, where it can get bitter cold. I have a condition called Reynaud's syndrome, which makes my fingers and toes supersensitive to cold. One or more fingers will become pale, then perhaps blue. Numbness and pain may appear. Then as the digit rewarms, it may become flushed. It's got a genetic component: my dad had occasional episodes despite retiring in California. Some medications such as beta-blockers for hypertension can cause or worsen this condition. So I'm very glad to have these gloves.

Not good for really cold weather
G.E.✓ Verified Purchase•January 14, 2017
I've had these gloves for a year now and have only used them to ski (Mammoth Lakes, CA mostly). If it's the perfect day out with nice sunshine, no wind, and temperatures not lower than say around 25 F, you'll be fine.
But... if the temperature drops and the wind picks up, your fingers are probably going to freeze. I've had to stop skiing and go into one of the resort lodges to warm up because I felt like my fingers were going to break off from the cold.
I literally just got back from a skiing trip and felt compelled to write this review. Needless to say, I will be shopping for another pair of gloves.
Fit is fine.
