I first got the cardiology MDF when I was in medical school and fell in love. Since it was getting a bit old and was rather heavy as stethoscopes go, I thought this was a very pretty stethoscope. When I got it, I loved it. I've gotten so many compliments on it since I've had it. I would say though that the finish is rubbing off on the upper parts where the metal crosses due to the friction which is why I took a star due to concern of further wear of the coloring. All in all it's held up well so far and is much lighter than the cardiology stethoscope.

My scrubs are bright blue and their dye have left their mark on my beautiful stethoscope. Luckily you can't notice unless you look closely. I just learned, too, that every MDF stethoscope is covered by a lifetime warranty! I'm very excited about that.

I love this stethoscope and the color. I bought this for nursing school and it's been a great one to start out with. It comes with different ear pieces and they are the soft ones. I can hear great with this stethoscope and I've used littmans as well. The only thing I don't like is how heavy the bell is compared to others
