It's tricky to get the rhythm and resonance, but a lot of fun once you get the water to jump. Clean hands are important. It's fun to have someone else touch the bowl at the nodes (where the water jumps) ... instant stop. Then contrast with touching the bowl at the anti-nodes (1/2 way between nodes) ... very little change (since the waveform is essentially zero there).
We once had a double-frequency situation ... 8 spouts ... but have not been able to repeat it.
