Not only did I get compliments everywhere I went wearing this, but it was also warm and extremely comfortable! I absolutely adore the style of this coat! I would recommend this to anyone. I bought this in the winters of New York, and I now live in Florida, and still had to wear it when I very first moved here in the winter.. Would recommend.

I was worried based on reviews as to if a XXL would be vastly too small for a size 18 at 220 and 5'5", but the coat fits as expected. (Note don't know exact weight because of lack of a scale; if anything weight is higher). Sure it would fit better with a few less pounds, especially if you want to wear thick sweaters or blazers underneath. However, it was easy to move arms around and above my head, and bend over to pick up items without a problem; without it feeling snug. The texture of the coat is fine; it's soft, not stiff. It is mid-weight, not heavy and not lightweight. There is a good lining inside. Would be fine for milder midwestern winter days so long as you're not standing still at a bus stop for prolonged periods, but walking from car to store in 32 degrees should be fine. It will need steaming to remove wrinkles. The center button popped off before putting on the coat while testing out buttoning and unbuttoning it. It buttoned easily, it was the unbuttoning that was tougher. Had to do the other buttons more gently, then it was not a problem putting it on and doing the buttons once having the hang of it. (As someone else mentioned before, the button sizes are a bit large for the button hole size.) These would be better as snap-close buttons. The three buttons at the neck flap have corresponding closures, which is a nice touch. I thought they were going to be decorative only. There are large pockets in the pleats (one hand in pic has a thumb in the pocket; but whole hand fits inside with room to spare). The front flaps are decorative only. It came with a belt (not pictured) and there is a large belt loop at the back only; no belt loops on the side. I'm giving it a 5 because for the price of $89 this is well worth it. Had it been over $100, I might've given it a four. I can totally see why some people purchased more than one. I'll see how it holds up once winter actually rolls around, but out of the box, I am pleased with it.

It's warm and fits for the most part. The waist section is a little on the small side.
