Bought two, one showed up not working. Company sent another one to me. Within one week, the new one and the original one I got quit working. I would stay away from this product even though the Company seems to work with you (just think they need to stop selling this item). We just don't have time to keep hanging these in our bar and taking them down.

A good value for the price. Two of them are bright enough to illuminate a small stage.

I bought these specifically because they came with remotes, because I didn't want to pack around a controller. However, I was disappointed to find that functionality is limited with the remotes. Most significant to me was that you can only choose primary colors and cannot create custom colors on the fly using just the remotes. That was disappointment #1. So I had to buy a DMX controller and cables for another $200. So much for being a bargain.

Disappointment #2 came when I connected them the controller and found that their channel assignments are different from every other lighting fixture in the world. Instead of WRGB, they are RGBW. Consequently, on my controller, the fader labeled "Red" actually controls overall brightness. "Green" controls red, "Blue" controls green, and "White" controls blue. Confusing when you're on stage. The controller has built-in presets, but they of course don't work. The one labeled "Red" turns the lights blue, and 3 of them just turn the lights off. Luckily, it's a programmable controller so I just made my own presets.

Another surprise,,, DMX fixtures don't usually require a terminator unless you have very long cable runs. But that was not my experience with these. Mine just went nuts with random colors and effects until I added a second fixture, configured as a slave (which also terminates the network). that was with a 50' cable, not particularly long for lighting.

So yeah, a pretty good value for the price. But honestly, I would not buy them again. Next time I'll spend a little more for fixtures that conform to industry standards.

Everything is great except for an occasionally unresponsive remote. A great buy.

For the money, great deal. And mine came with two remotes. For someone who loses stuff a lot, that's great!

I'm a lifelong musician and when I started to get this kind of lighting required large metal "cans" and they were crude by today's standards. You needed big metal rack mount controllers and sliding mixers to control the lights. Well imagine my surprise when these arrived in small cardboard boxes, weighing somewhere in the area of a pound and a half each! Well, I set them out and plugged them in. Wow! Bright! And what was so cool-- the remote control! I don't need a full fledge light show anymore, but having 4 remote controlled lights really adds to the dramatics of performance.

I love these lights and plan on buying 4 more so I have two light trees with 4 on each. To change colors, I just walk by the light, aim the remote, and push whatever color I want. Instant.
