Dependable, but does get hot after using.
Chris Bridges•April 30, 2018
I have gotten a lot of use out of this pump due to some frequent leaks in my truck tires. Works very fast, and the auto-shut-off is handy to have. My only complaint is that the unit gets VERY hot, so it will need to cool down before sticking it under your backseat. The carrying case zipper broke, as it's cheaply made. Still, this is a very good unit for the cost, and it has not let me down when I needed it.
Works well, but auto shutoff might not work for larger jobs

This product has a stylish design and is well constructed. I like that it is fairly quiet and easy to use. Unfortunately, it shuts off before I can add air to all four tires on our mid-size SUV. I recommend this product if you have a smaller vehicle or rarely need to add air to your tires. For bigger vehicles or frequent use, you might need a higher capacity product.
Great for emergency situations.

I purchased this because it has the highest inflating speed I could find... 40 liters per minute / 1.4 cubic feet per minute. Many others seem to be around 1.0 cfm. I also wanted a digital pressure readout that has an auto shutoff so I can sit in my warm car during cold winters while it does it's job. It inflates my flat car tire up to 25psi in less than a min then it takes a few more min to get it up to 40psi. After about 10min of running it does get really hot right around the quick release air outlet while the rest of the unit is only mildly warm. It is hot enough that I don't want to put it in its case right away and have the potential of the power cord melting if it lays right on the hot spot. If you're only using it to inflate one tire that's low it doesn't run long enough to get that hot. This unit is great at being a convenient portable tire inflator for emergency situations... it's not a good heavy-use air compressor replacement.
I've also used it to fill up my bike tires. It has no problem inflating to 80psi quickly but the screw on nozzle takes too long to unscrew. You can easily lose 15-20psi before you remove it.

It's okay

The Jury is still out!!! I have only topped off two tires. It acted a little peculiar. After hooking up the air hose and setting the air pressure, I turned it on and nothing happened. I toggled the switch again and it fired up. Then, it gained pressure and shut off. The 2nd tire was on a 3/4 ton truck front tire that holds 55 psi. I set it to 55 psi. It started on the 2nd toggle again. The gauge climbed to 55 and it kept running, but the gauge stayed on 55. By the time I decided to manually turn it off, it ran well past 60 psi. My air gauge that I checked it with only went up to 60 psi. So, go figure!
Very dissatisfied with this pump.

I absolutely hate this product and wish I hadn't bought it at all. I don't know what's wrong with it, but since the beginning it shuts off after a few seconds of pumping. If I restart it it shuts off even quicker. I think the reset mechanism to prevent overheating doesn't work and/or the thing overheats in seconds. The bottom line is that you can't inflate anything with it, not even a basketball, let alone a car tire, or in my case I wanted to inflate kitesurfing kites with it. It was a no go.
I owned it for several months and I finally just threw it away.
