If you ever do electronic repairs, buy this now! I had been struggling to repair a perfectly good Samsung S4 phone with a failed power switch, using all my familiar tricks. Thin wire solder didn't work because it bridged the tiny connectors. Braided wick didn't work for cleaning up that mess. I worried about cooking the board, switch or nearby components. Then an expert friend casually mentioned this stuff so I decided to try it.
Magic! First it lowered the temperature and surface tension of my solder glob so it was easy to clean up using just a low temperature setting on a variable soldering iron. Then I could easily paint on exactly the amount needed to make the connections without bridging them. A touch on each connection with the iron at low setting and it was done. This stuff easily paid for itself on this first job, and now it's in the fridge (note the short shelf life) awaiting my next amateur miniature electronics repair task.

The first time I worked with solder paste, it was a sub-par experience. Working with this paste was a pleasant experience. It's easy to apply, it flows well, and behaves as expected. This made a frustrating project into a breeze when I was able to avoid hand-soldering multiple SMD components. I was a little nervous it would just make things worse given my past experience, but nope, it worked as it should and I was done in minutes when I expected it to take a half hour or more.

Love me some low melt solder add a little bit of this to a joint before you reheat it drop the melting point of the existing solder when it mixes and makes removal a breeze I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Northridge repair on YouTube great stuff!

Good solder paste for general electronic assembly and repair, although I wouldn't recommend it for applications which will see significant heat at the solder joints in the future, such as radio transceivers which can get really hot inside during extended transmit cycles, due to its low melting point. I repair a lot of radio equipment which can actually produce heat higher than the melting point of this solder, so I know it wouldn't be a good idea to use it in those circuits. But for other, lower temp applications, it's great. I do recommend that if you keep it refrigerated, let it warm up to room temp for at least 4-6 hours (8-12 is better) before using it, as it tends not to flow well through really small dispenser tips unless it's truly at room temp or just a tad warmer.
