It sucks up water off a wet dog pretty well. No complaints there. I just wish it was a little bit bigger. It would be a bit small even if it were a baby towel and dogs, even a puppy like we have, can hold a lot more water than a baby can.

These absorb water well! I bought two just in case I would need it. It takes me two regular towels to get my cat remotely dry, with these I use just one and it absorbs about 80% percent of the water. The rest my cat can either air dry or I can use a hair blow dryer for a quicker finish

I have a small dog that is groomed so her fur is currently very short. I bought a medium size towel and it worked great on her. It is super absorbent a dried her mostly off. However, I will most likely buy a large towel when her hair grows back for the winter months because she was still damp and gets cold easily.
