Great fit because it's adjustable. I would pre-drill holes for the screws because the self-tapping screws were hard to get started. The guard is made of heavy aluminum so it won't bend, rust, or discolor. It looks good.

This is a perfect item for my 6X6 outdoor lamp post.
Can't believe why it has to be so difficult to find the right item. Mostly available marketed as 6x6 post guard in the market is actually for 5.5x5.5 not 6x6.
This one is adjustable so it fits perfectly my needs.
Screws included are self drilling ones so I didn't need to drill holes separately.
No more worries for post whacking.
I am very happy with these!
I would recommend all my neighbors.
