Excellent lamp!

I've been using my Kedsum lamp for over a month now. For a clip-on lamp under $20, I am very happy with it. I use it every day.
The desk in my study is situated so that the overhead light casts shadows when I write. I've positioned the lamp so that those shadows are eliminated. The light is bright and lets me see what I'm writing very clearly. The cord isn't overly long, but works for me. The three brightness levels are satisfactory. I usually use the dimmest or middle levels.
The only drawback is that the lamp is very difficult to use without clipping it to the desk, or hanging on the wall. The clip base is not heavy enough to prevent the lamp from toppling over, unless the neck is virtually straight up and down. Even then, it's a balancing act. One jar and it could topple. So the lamp must either be wall mounted or clipped to the desk. All-in-all, though, for me, that is a very small drawback.
I'd buy another if I needed one and highly recommend it if you're in the market for an inexpensive desk lamp.

The Kedsum Dimmable Eye-Care Lamp gives off a pleasant light that doesn't strain ones eyes even at the brightest setting. And the bendible"‹ neck that holds the light is equally as strainless to bend. What's more, the clip that clips this clip-on lamp to whatever you clip it onto is also strainlessly openable and closable and holds like a whatever gripping onto a whatever, with the lighting button on it responsive to the slightest touch of the digit of ones choice. This Kedsum clip-on lamp is what I've been looking for for a long time but was in the dark where to find it until I seen it in the Amazon.

I have only been using the lamp for two weeks so this is just a short term review. Thus far, I like it. I wanted something else but it was far too big for my very small craft table. This lamp works fine, it offers the type of lighting I needed to work on my craft in the evening. It has the three levels of lighting which are sufficient. I like that you only need to do a touch to increase the level of light. I also like that since my table is very small it is a clip on base and does not take up much space on the surface area. The gooseneck allows me to twist to areas that I need more illumination. For the price, I am not going squawk if it falls apart in a year or less, that is what the $200 plus range lamps are for, longevity. I needed something inexpensive and easy to work with.

This light is sleek and works as described with one exception (and the reason for four instead of five stars) it is not stable and will not sit on its own so must be clamped. The clamp is extremely strong which makes it difficult to open for my smaller hands. Other than that, it is an attractive desk lamp, the dimmer works well and certainly provides enough light to read or do any other kind of work. The switch for the light is very easy to operate as it sits right on top of the clamp and operates by touch. I would not hesitate to purchase another one of these lamps.

I am very happy with this lamp. I put it on my headboard and use it as a reading lamp before I retire for the night. It is extremely functional; the dimmer gives three different lighting levels, but even the lowest one gives plenty of light for reading and the gooseneck allows you to position it the way you want. I did not find the clamp too difficult to open and I am quite elderly and not very strong. I love the way you can just run your hand over the plate where the dimmer switch is to turn it on. Very useful for the middle of the night if you need to get up. Well worth the money. I have been shopping for a bed light with a dimmer switch for sometime and was delighted to find this one.
