You can definitely strap this over your shoulder and carry your gun. You can also break down the para-cord in a survival situation. It does every thing it says it will do that's why it gets three stars. The question after does it do what it says it will do is who would want to? This thing is uncomfortable and not nearly as attractive as you might think. Honestly, I'm probably going to give this away to another hunter or save as a back up sling but I definitely won't keep it as my primary sling. Even more honestly, I'd have returned it if I didn't have to pay the shipping on the return. It's worth cost difference. Padding might have made this a good buy.
One last thing, the para-cord doesn't cover as much of the strap as I thought it would. Maybe half to three quarters. It makes sense to be adjustable but I hadn't considered that when I bought it.

This is my 2nd one of these (other was olive/black) and they perform well for the money. The complains about being to short (I'm 5'10") I don't get that at all. Unless I want the butt of my rifle dragging the ground, I was always taught to carry tight and high with your rifle. To each their own I suppose. Also that the swivels, I've yet to see any studs they didn't fit, Mossberg, Remington, Ruger, and now a Savage. Will be getting more soon

I know that it's made from paracord, and paracord is great, but I was expecting something a little more substantial then what I got. It's a little to short and small to get on over a full plate carrier with magazines and stuff inside without struggling. that being said, if you're not wearing a plate carrier which i'm sure counts for 90% of people looking at this item, then it should work just fine.

This sling is incredible. I was skeptical at first if it would be durable or strong enough, but skeptical no more. Super strong sling. I have it on my 870 express tactical and it takes a beating and keeps going strong. I love it. I will be buying more for my other rifles/shotguns. I test fitted it on everything else I have and I had no problems. I'm not sure how people had issues with the sizing of the swivels. It's also super easy to adjust it. Don't buy anymore $40+ slings with thumb loops and 1 handed adjustment and this and that and whatever other waste of money slings. Just buy these, and if SHTF, you can never have too much para cord.

Great great sling!!!! I've got one on my sig braced Draco and one on my AR15. They look great and both the clips and the strap adjustments are strong and hold tight, you won't find your sling self loosening itself as you walk with your gun on your shoulder. I initially bought 2 because I couldn't beat the price, I'm buying 4 more because I also can't beat the quality which is far above what I am paying for.
