Great Display Case
Aly✓ Verified Purchase•May 2, 2017
This was exactly what I needed to display my pins from Disneyland and Universal Studios. It fit 25 pins but I have the larger pins and it displayed them beautifully. I like how easy it is to open from the side and you can store the backing of the pins at the bottom, there is a designated place and it fit all of them. I will be purchasing a second one for my daughter for her pins. My honest opinion
Great display case

This is a nice, thin display case that works really well with pins. There is a small trough at the bottom where the backs of the pins can be stored and not be seen when the lid is closed. The lid has a magnetic closure so it's easily opened and stays securely shut. It has hangers on the back so it can be mounted on the wall and isn't much thicker than a standard picture frame. It looks nice displayed flat on a table too. It doesn't take much effort to push the pins in the covered background and you can move them around to rearrange without tearing it up. Perfect for pin collectors.
Highly recommend! Top quality magnetic closure display case with place for storing pin backs too. A+

Great case, holds all my pins perfectly, magnetic closure for tight fit, even a small open area in bottom for storing the backs to the pins. The pin holder is solidly connected to back of case, so no need to worry about opening and everything falling. Wherever you stick the pin is where it stays. Can hang display on wall, and bracket can be moved to Hang on its side if you like. I highly recommend! When this one is full I am going to buy another
Good for what it is, but highly imperfect

It stores a lot of pins - I don't recommend putting buttons on it - but it IS on the cheap side. But it's under $30 - you're not getting a mahogany, super-dense storage chest. I like it, but it's not perfect. The following lists kind of re-hash what other reviewers are saying, but:
Pros
- Light
- Pretty (if you're okay without the "expensive" look)
- Foam insert doesn't come out (depends on what you want)
- Place for pin backs at the bottom (again, depends on what you want - I thought this was a good idea)
Cons
- No hinges ("sticks" closed, but if you tilt it, it will open)
- Foam (?) insert isn't resilient, so once you stick a pin in it, the hole is hard to reuse because subsequent pins will fit too loosely
- Pins fit loosely in general (they don't fall out, though, if you're reasonably gentle)
- Expensive, considering what it is/does
I use it for a personal pin collection - pins that I've collected on travels and such. Nothing fancy (so no medals or awards, mostly souvenirs). If you want something super-classy and professional-looking, keep moving. But it's good, and if you need something temporary until you get a larger/sturdier case, this is perfect.
I like mine and will keep it, but I can't say for sure if I'm getting another or not yet. If I need one, I might.

Great Item for displaying "smaller" pins & buttons!
Jake✓ Verified Purchase•August 21, 2016
These are great for displaying smaller pins and buttons. Not sure why a few individuals chose to give this item a negative review. I, like many of the other customers that have purchased the item find it to be a great way to display their smaller pins or button collections. Yes, the item has a clear plastic viewing pane, however it is quality material, very suitable for wall hanging (light weight). I just ordered three more, and received a $16.00 discount. Yes, I do agree that the $28.00 for a single unit is very expensive, considering the materials used. However you will not find them much less anywhere else. If you order them in multiples, the price is much better. They should probably retail at $15.00 (my humble opinion), and would sell much better. Over-all I am pleased, and they served the purpose. Wish they came in larger sizes for my larger political button collection. I was only able to fit 12 medium size buttons in the case, which is why I ended up ordering three more... I did find one that was 25" x 18" from another vendor. It did have real glass, and was $49.00 on Amazon. I'll rate it once received.
